We asked for prayer to find us a clean and sober living environment and God answered that prayer. Also we asked the Lord to handle the order on my engagement ring and that was also answered.

We prayed that my Mom would be able to come and visit. We hadn’t seen each other in 14 years. Well, God answered my prayer and my Mom came for Christmas. It was truly a divine appointment from God. Thank you, God, for your many miracles that you have given me and my family. Prayer does work. God really does answer. What a wonderful loving God we have.

I was diagnosed with stage 5 liver cirrhosis 4 ½ years ago. Aski8ng God for help and believing that prayers are answered, he healed my liver. The doctors can’t figure out what happened. Also God removed my nicotine addiction 34 days ago.

They prayed for me and the visitation to be set up without my wife and within the next week I received the call from CPS and it was done. I am truly grateful the people I have met here at CBC. Thank you and God Bless

I requested prayer for my uncle Cleo. He was dying and I didn’t know if he was saved. A few days later he died and when I attended his funeral the Pastor had said that a couple of people from his church had talked to Cleo in the nursing home and he had accepted Jesus as his Savior, and was confident he knew where he was going when he died. Thank you Jesus!!

I asked for prayer to release my wife from false leadership and bring her home. She cast them away and came home.

On 10/30/07, shortly after 8 pm after Chapel services, I requested prayer for my relapsed wife, Tami. J, from the ministry team prayed for God’s direct intercession, to communicate with her through her addiction. The next day, Wed, 10/31/07, she told me about a cell phone that had been traded from drugs had started blinking incessantly the day before. When she picked it up, the banner on the screen read “God Loves You”. I immediately asked her what time this occurred. She replied, “Between 8:15 and 8:30” It was actually 8:19pm, the day of the relapse.

I lost my job and started using drugs again. I finally quit the drugs. I prayed for a new job and the desire to start a new life. Within 2 days, I got a new job and I no longer want to use. I have been blessed. Thank you, Jesus.

It has been 10 years since I had unsupervised visits with my daughter and have b been praying and allowing the Lord to work on me, and I have had unsupervised visits of her. It will be my 5th visit tonight.

I had an answered prayer over 5 weeks ago concerning work. I was praying for a specific job in the laborer’s union. I wasn’t given that specific job, but was given a job with that union at an equal pay scale.

I went to the UGM and this prayer team was there at the moment I needed help with prayer. My boyfriend’s Dad was on his death bed and I was not able to go see him. So we prayed for most of the service time and we prayed that God would bring someone to minister to hid dad and to soften my boyfriend’s heart so I could go see his dad. The next day the doctors were talking about pulling the plug and he woke up and took his son’s hand and at that moment God answered my prayer.

I came into the healing rooms for prayer at the Union Gospel Mission asking for prayer for my shoulder. Because my lifestyle and disregard to my health, my shoulder surgery was a failure. At this time, I was at ROCK BOTTOM. They prayed for my shoulder and my journey to come and just my well being. After the prayer, we talked for a little while and W.. commented that there were great things to come and that he saw a leadership role for me. Also, that I would be a servant for God. At that time it seemed impossible because I was detoxing and a real busted man spiritually. But by the Grace of God, today I am 10 months clean, a small group leader, a Sunday school teacher, a member of the worship team, and most importantly a servant to God. Also my shoulder is going to be repaired 12/5/07. All of these are absolute miracles. Thanks guys, gals, and God.
