The COPS program is a partnership between the City of Spokane neighborhood residents, the Police Department and the Department of Corrections to help make their community a safer place to live.COPS is staffed by neighborhood volunteers who provide community resource information and handle complaints. Block Watch, a program of COPS is a communication program that focuses on crime prevention by educating and involving neighbors to reduce their risk of becoming victims. | ||
